The journey to the 2025 men’s Frozen Four is intensifying as the sport’s six leagues enter tournament mode, the final stage before the NCAA tournament.
The champions of the six conference tournaments will secure berths in the NCAA tournament. Ten additional teams will be selected at-large based on the PairWise rankings, completing the 16-team field. The NCAA tournament bracket announcement is scheduled for March 23 on ESPNU and ESPN+.
Regional competition will commence on March 27, with regional finals on March 29 and 30. The Frozen Four will be held in St. Louis on April 10 and 12. All games will be broadcast on the ESPN networks and streamed on ESPN+.
Three leagues—the Atlantic, CCHA, and ECAC—are anticipated to be single-bid leagues. This implies that their conference tournaments will likely determine their sole representative in the NCAA tournament.
Below are the tournament schedules for each conference, which will be updated with results as games are played, along with an overview of each league’s NCAA prospects. (All times are Eastern Time.)
Atlantic Hockey
Atlantic Hockey is expected to be a one-bid league. Holy Cross, after claiming its first regular-season title since 2006 and boasting a 12-1-1 record in their recent games, must maintain their momentum and win the league tournament to reach the NCAA tournament. The Crusaders advanced to the semifinals after defeating AIC in overtime in Game 3 of their quarterfinal series.

Michigan State has secured the No. 2 overall seed, and Minnesota aims to break into the top four. Ohio State is also expected to make the tournament field.
