2025 PGA Championship Betting Odds: Scheffler, McIlroy early favorites

The PGA Championship is the next significant golf major on the calendar, with significant attention focused on who will emerge victorious at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Predictably, the leading contenders are Scottie Scheffler (+440) and Rory McIlroy (+450). Scheffler acknowledged a slower start to his year but recently secured his first win of the season at the CJ Cup on the PGA Tour. He aims to build on this recent success and climb the leaderboard in Charlotte. To ensure adequate rest and preparation for the PGA Championship, Scheffler will not be participating in the Truist Championship this weekend.

In contrast, McIlroy is fresh off winning his first green jacket at the Masters, thereby completing his career grand slam. A win at Quail Hollow would represent the subsequent step towards achieving a modern grand slam within a single calendar year.

Last year`s PGA Championship winner, Xander Schauffele (+1800), is back in the field, along with other notable top favorites including Bryson DeChambeau (+1200), Ludvig Åberg (+1600), and Collin Morikawa (+1800).

The tournament`s opening round is scheduled to commence on Thursday, May 15.
