Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz shared his thoughts on the upcoming final of the Rome Masters tournament. The young Spaniard secured his spot in the final by defeating Italy`s Lorenzo Musetti in the semi-final with a score of 6-3, 7-6(4).
Alcaraz`s opponent for the final match is currently unknown. He will face the winner of the second semi-final between Tommy Paul of the United States and Italy`s Jannik Sinner.
Speaking after his victory, Alcaraz discussed the prospect of facing either player in the final:
Let`s see who I will play in the final. They are both playing great tennis right now. Regarding Sinner… everyone who saw his match against Ruud witnessed a very high level of tennis.
If I end up playing Tommy Paul, I need to be fully prepared for that challenge. If I play Jannik, I also need to be ready for that intense battle. And, of course, regardless of the opponent, I`ll have the crowd factor to consider. So, Sunday promises to be an interesting day.
