Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev has shared his thoughts on beginning his collaboration with Marat Safin. Rublev admitted that he is currently finding it difficult to predict the outcome of this partnership.
Safin has joined the Russian player`s coaching team.
“We have an easy connection. `Move your feet,` it`s all very simple.”
“Right now, we are focusing more on the tennis aspect, paying attention to that. I don`t know if it`s a mental thing or not. We`ll see how things develop at tournaments.”
“I myself don`t yet know what might come of this and how it will be. An opportunity just arose, I felt I could try it – and that`s it, we agreed. And what will come of it – for us, it`s as much a secret as it is for everyone else,” Rublev said in an interview.
