World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka was asked during a press conference after winning the WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid if she had ever played someone who hits harder than her.
“I don`t know,” she smiled. “Maybe only in practice with guys. For instance, with Rublev – that was something! After just five minutes, I told him: `Alright, that`s enough, I`m out`.” Sabalenka added, “But power isn`t always the key to winning. You can hit the ball really hard but still miss. However, men`s serves are definitely stronger, of course.”
