Bayern Munich is set to host Inter Milan this Tuesday for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal matchup. Despite their strong performance in the Bundesliga, Bayern is currently dealing with a number of player injuries.
Jamal Musiala is the latest player to be ruled out. He sustained a muscle injury in the game against Augsburg and will be absent for both legs of the quarterfinal. Other key Bayern players missing the first leg due to injury include Alphonso Davies, Dayot Upamecano, and Manuel Neuer.

Adding to the news, Thomas Muller has announced he will leave Bayern Munich at the end of this season. Kompany commented on this, saying, “Right now, the focus is on preparing for the Inter match. Muller`s decision needs to be respected. His legendary career deserves respect, and while it`s a significant topic, my priority is to prepare the team for our next game.”
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi also addressed player availability in his pre-match press conference. He mentioned that Bastoni and Calhanoglu trained with the team and are being evaluated, while Dimarco trained separately. Regarding Lautaro Martinez, Inzaghi stated he was planned to play only the first half against Parma but played 70 minutes and is fit to play against Bayern.
