Betting Odds for Upcoming Golf Majors

Scottie Scheffler is halfway to completing a career Grand Slam, having already won two Masters tournaments and a PGA Championship. Looking ahead to the U.S. Open and subsequent majors, Scheffler is currently listed as the betting favorite for all four upcoming championships on the futures market. Rory McIlroy is close behind as a strong contender. Bryson DeChambeau is the only other golfer with odds better than 10-1 for any of these next four major events.

The 2025 U.S. Open

The U.S. Open in 2025 will be held from June 12-15 at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. This marks the 10th time the course has hosted the championship. Bryson DeChambeau was the winner of the 2024 U.S. Open held at Pinehurst No. 2.

The 2025 Open Championship

Also known as the British Open, the 2025 Open Championship is scheduled for July 17-20. It will take place at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland. Xander Schauffele claimed the victory at the 2024 event held at Royal Troon.

The 2026 Masters

The Masters is unique among the four majors as it is always played at the same location, Augusta National Club in Georgia. The 2026 tournament is set for April 9-12. Rory McIlroy won his first green jacket at the event earlier this year.

The 2026 PGA Championship

Scottie Scheffler, the 2025 champion, will aim to defend his title at the 2026 PGA Championship. The tournament will be held from May 14-17 next year at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.
