German tennis icon Boris Becker, a six-time Grand Slam champion and former world number one, has expressed high praise for the potential of 20-year-old French talent Arthur Fils, who is currently ranked 14th globally.
Becker shared his positive outlook on the young player: “`Personally, I am a fan of Arthur Fils. He has a very complete game. I see the future of tennis in him. I like his annual progress and the fact that he is only 20 years old.`”
Arthur Fils has already claimed three titles on the ATP Tour. His maiden victory came in 2023 at the Lyon Open in France. In 2024, he added two significant ATP 500 trophies to his collection, winning tournaments in Hamburg, Germany, and Tokyo, Japan.
