World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz has shared his thoughts on top-ranked ATP player Jannik Sinner`s three-month absence from the tour.

Alcaraz stated, “I would really love to do nothing for a month, honestly. We play for 11 months without breaks, stopping for no more than three days, maybe a week. Playing all 11 months with high intensity, with a lot of physical and mental effort, and having only three or four consecutive days off – it`s not right. I believe that rest is important both for the fans and for tennis in general because after it, we could return to the court and play even better,” the Spaniard was quoted by Tennis World USA.
