Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz has extended his congratulations to Holger Rune of Denmark following the Barcelona Open final. Rune secured the ATP 500 title with a victory of 7-6 (6), 6-2.
Alcaraz acknowledged Rune`s impressive week, stating, “Congratulations on an incredible week. You came to Barcelona and demonstrated fantastic tennis, especially after having to withdraw from Monte Carlo. That`s truly admirable.”
He continued, “My congratulations go to you and your team. We`ve known each other since we were 12 years old. Time flies so quickly. It`s great to see us both competing at this level. Look how far we`ve come together! Well done, and keep up the excellent work.”
