World No. 2 Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz will undergo an MRI on his hip, Marca reports.
The tennis player experienced issues during the final match of the ATP 500 tournament in Barcelona, Spain, where he was defeated by Denmark`s Holger Rune.
During the match, Alcaraz felt discomfort in his right adductor muscle. The severity of the injury is currently unknown.
Following the Barcelona tournament, Rune is set to rise to 9th place in the world rankings, while Alcaraz will drop to 3rd.
