Chael Sonnen has launched into a surprising and explicit verbal attack directed at Alex Pereira and Francis Ngannou.
Known as ‘The American Gangster,’ Sonnen is famous for never backing down from a war of words.
Recently, Sonnen discussed why he remains embarrassed about his loss to Tito Ortiz, delivering a harsh jab at ‘The Huntington Beach Bad Boy.’
Now, he has turned his attention to two of the most powerful strikers in the history of combat sports.
Chael Sonnen Issues Bizarre Threat to Francis Ngannou and Alex Pereira
Chael Sonnen is widely recognized as one of the greatest trash talkers in history, with his clever and humorous insults still loved by fans today.
Although he has retired from professional fighting, he still enjoys throwing verbal jabs occasionally.
In a recent interview with Submission Radio, he reminded everyone of his comedic talent with a verbal attack that, while possibly just for entertainment, is likely to grab the attention of Francis Ngannou and Alex Pereira.
Sonnen stated: “Let me tell you something. This conversation about hypothetical fights started with a fan tweet asking who I would have fought if I could fight anyone. The answer is easy: Francis Ngannou, that loudmouth little p—y.”
“I have to say, he’s a very large man, and it’s not like he’s picking on someone past their prime.
“We are very close in age. I’m almost 50, he’s almost 50. They list him at 36, but we can all agree he’s at least 36. Nobody really knows Francis’s true age, number one.
“Number two, he’s a much bigger guy than me. It doesn’t matter if it’s on the playground or not—a fourth-grader shouldn’t bully a first-grader. It’s just wrong.
“I’ll take his size and shove it right up his a–. How dare Francis Ngannou, as a current athlete, come at a commentator who is just trying to observe and comment on things.”
“And another thing, if I can’t get Khamzat Chimaev, I’ve got two alligators, one for each of their nuts—.”
“I would knock out Francis with a groin shot, and I’d knock out Pereira with a groin shot. I’d just walk away laughing and go about my day, leaving them lying there crying, ‘Mr. Sonnen, why?’ ‘Because, Khamzat, that’s why.’”
Chael Sonnen Criticizes Alex Pereira`s Training Methods
While Sonnen’s threats might be hollow, this isn’t the first time he has expressed disapproval of ‘Poatan’.
Since retiring from fighting, the Oregon native has become a respected MMA analyst.
Using his fight expertise and articulate language, he provides insightful analysis.
Furthermore, he also notices things he disagrees with in training, and Sonnen recently shared his concerns about Pereira’s training approach.
