Champions League Preview: Borussia Dortmund vs. FC Barcelona

Barcelona, under coach Hansi Flick, will play against Borussia Dortmund in Germany for the Champions League quarterfinal second leg at Signal Iduna Park on Tuesday. Barcelona won the first leg 4-0 at home. In the first match in Spain, Barcelona`s goals were scored by Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, and Robert Lewandowski, who scored twice. Lewandowski, a former Borussia Dortmund player from 2010 to 2014, will return to his old stadium.

Barcelona coach Flick talked about the team`s motivation despite winning last week during the pre-match press conference. He said he has a lot of faith in the team and they have had many games without a loss, which they should be proud of. He praised his players, saying they are incredible, have worked hard all season, are fit and in good form, and are motivated for the final part of the season.

Barcelona goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, expected to play on Tuesday, spoke about his amazing season. He joined Barcelona a few months after announcing his retirement. Szczesny mentioned that he enjoys winning and never thought he would have a chance to win competitions like the Champions League after retiring. He hopes to achieve his dream of winning the Champions League.

Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovac discussed the fitness of team captain Emre Can, who might miss the game against Barcelona due to muscle problems in his adductor area. Kovac noted that Can has been playing through pain for weeks, which is commendable. Emre Can missed the last training session before Tuesday`s game.
