UFC President Dana White won a $10,000 bet from Adin Ross while watching the fighting debut of Kodiyakredd, one of the well-known ‘Island Boys,’ which ended in a loss.
Ross organized an MMA cage event for his Brand Risk Promotions in Miami last night. He managed to get Dana White and Hunter Campbell, who is rarely heard from, to provide commentary for a significant portion of the event. The pair engaged in humorous banter with Ross and boxing champion Teofimo Lopez throughout a night filled with fights ending in stoppages.
The most captivating fight of the evening featured Kick streamer Oblivion defeating Kodiyakredd in the first round. Redd, along with his brother Flyy Soulja, are controversial social media personalities. Over 390,000 viewers tuned in to witness one of them suffer a decisive defeat.
Dana White Observes Kodiyakredd`s Knockout in Cage Fight
Adin Ross successfully featured the prominent UFC leader Dana White, among other celebrities, at his event in Miami on Friday night. White, who is in town for UFC 314 tonight, experienced a different level of fighting alongside several notable figures.
White watched as Kodiyakredd, whose real name is Franky Venegas, competed against streamer Oblivion in a kickboxing match inside an MMA cage. Hunter Campbell pointed out that despite being a kickboxing bout, no kicks were thrown during any of the fights that night, with all combatants remaining on their feet.
From the start, Oblivion’s boxing skills were apparent, and White immediately proposed a $10,000 bet to Ross, predicting Oblivion would win. Ross accepted, a decision that quickly seemed unwise.
Within the first minute, Oblivion achieved a standing eight count as the ISKA referee, known for being cautious, aimed to prevent serious injury to either fighter. The fight was stopped in the final seconds of the round after Kodiyakredd absorbed another clean combination, culminating in a direct uppercut.
The ‘Island Boy’ insisted that with more training he would have been victorious. Subsequently, his brother entered the cage to challenge Oblivion.
Dana White Shares Views on Influencer Boxing
During the live stream, Dana White openly discussed various topics, including influencer boxing. Campbell playfully mocked Ross’s ‘wall of fame,’ which included Jake Paul but not Lopez, who is a regular commentator for Brand Risk events.

When asked about his opinion on social media stars fighting, White responded, “I believe there will always be interest in fights involving people who are known. Whether people love them or hate them, if they have some level of fame, there`s going to be inherent interest.”
When Ross questioned if White saw it as disrespectful to serious fighters, White simply dismissed the notion. Campbell then clarified that the real issue is when influencers try to present themselves as legitimate contenders alongside professional athletes.
