World No. 15 Danielle Collins rescued a dog that had been hit by a car. The American tennis player shared this story after her victory over Rebeka Masarova in the second round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami (6-4, 3-6, 6-3).
“One evening, we were leaving the stadium and saw a dog curled up in the middle of the road. He had been hit by a car. I knew we had to stop, and we picked him up. He has been in the clinic for two days now, and we are hoping to take him home. He is currently in critical condition.”
“If anyone can pray for my new pet… His name is Crush, because he was hit by a car. Please, guys, send good energy to my little one. That would be wonderful,” said Collins during an on-court interview.
