Darren Till, who stepped away from the UFC in 2023 to pursue a boxing career, is now contemplating a return to mixed martial arts. While he previously indicated that his only comeback would be within the UFC, the British fighter has revealed he is open to exploring options in other promotions.
Till`s boxing journey has seen a stop-start run with just two fights. He is currently set to headline Misfits Boxing 21 on Friday, May 16, facing fellow UFC veteran Darren Stewart in a rescheduled bout following his victory over Anthony Taylor.
In a recent exclusive interview, Till shared his surprising updated perspective on his MMA future. He stated that despite his focus on boxing, he feels his body is still fresh and suitable for the demands of MMA, suggesting he hasn`t suffered significant long-term damage.
Expressing openness to competing in the PFL, Till commented, “I`m not too old in the sport, my body`s not broken… I`m fresh. So I might go back… Depending on thing I might try my hand at the PFL, have a little go.”

Till added that he has communicated with the PFL and is impressed by their organizational approach, saying he “would actually love a bash at it.” However, he acknowledged that fighting for another promotion might affect his possibility of returning to the UFC later, concluding, “I think I still have a few years left in me.”
Before any potential MMA return, Till`s immediate focus remains his upcoming boxing match against Darren Stewart. He noted Stewart`s toughness from their shared time in the UFC and described the upcoming fight as they “are both having a go at the boxing and we’re going to have a tear up.”
