Newcastle United`s manager, Eddie Howe, will be absent from Sunday`s Premier League fixture against Manchester United due to hospitalization. Howe had been feeling unwell for several days and was admitted to the hospital Friday night for tests.
The club released a statement confirming that Howe stayed overnight in the hospital for ongoing tests. He is conscious, communicating with his family, and under expert medical supervision.

In Howe`s absence, assistant managers Jason Tindall and Graeme Jones will take charge of the Magpies at St. James` Park. This match is vital for Newcastle`s Champions League qualification ambitions.
