World No. 11 Elena Rybakina has shared insights into her experience learning to drive. The Kazakh athlete acquired her driver`s license during the recent offseason.
Rybakina recounted attending driving school for two weeks prior to the start of the season, focusing on accumulating many practice hours. She admitted that she initially felt apprehensive about driving, particularly due to the sometimes erratic driving style encountered in Dubai. Missing a turn could easily lead to a significant delay, she noted.
However, the tennis star confirmed that she now drives confidently and is comfortable driving alone. She even mentioned driving herself from her accommodation to the courts during a recent tournament.
