The press service of FC Akron has issued a congratulatory message following the victory of Mirra Andreeva and Diana Schneider in the women`s doubles tournament at the WTA 1000 event in Miami.
“Diana Schneider and Mirra Andreeva are the champions of the Miami Open in doubles! In the final, the girls overcame their opponents in three sets. Congratulations!” stated FC Akron`s Telegram channel.
It is worth recalling that Andreeva and Schneider secured the title by defeating Cristina Buksa and Miyu Kato with a score of 6-3, 6-7(5), 10-2.
Diana Schneider had previously visited a training session of FC Akron.
