Gilles Simon Names Two Most Memorable Tennis Matches

Former world No. 6 Gilles Simon has chosen his two most memorable matches in tennis.

“I think Nadal`s match when he first beat Federer at Wimbledon [in 2008] was more memorable for me than the Nadal and Djokovic match at the 2012 Australian Open. And also the final between Nadal and Federer at the Australian Open [in 2017], when Roger was returning after injury. At that time, we were not sure if he would continue playing or not,” Simon said in an interview with Gael Monfils.

Richard Gasquet: Alcaraz has something, but he doesn`t yet have the same aura as Federer. It comes with age and success.
