The PGA Tour is set to arrive in Silvis, Illinois, this week for the John Deere Classic tournament, held at TPC Deere Run. Competing for a significant total purse of $8.4 million, players will aim for the top prize of $1,512,000 and 500 valuable FedEx Cup points.
Last season, Davis Thompson, the reigning champion, achieved the lowest 72-hole score in the event`s history, finishing with an impressive 28-under 256 to secure his victory by four strokes.
