Former world No. 6 Hubert Hurkacz has announced his withdrawal from the upcoming Wimbledon Championships.
The Polish tennis player stated that he will miss the tournament due to fluid accumulation in his knee joint. He explained that this condition is a consequence of knee surgery he underwent a year ago, following an incident where he fell during the British major.
In related news, Borna Ćorić had also previously pulled out of the tournament. Both Hurkacz and Ćorić will be replaced by lucky losers in the main draw.
