Former doubles world number one Jamie Murray shared his assessment of his compatriot Jack Draper`s performance at the Queen`s Club tournament. The British player reached the semi-finals before being defeated by Jiří Lehečka with a score of 4/6, 6/4, 5/7.
“There’s no reason to panic regarding Draper`s upcoming performance at Wimbledon,” Murray commented. “I`m confident that ultimately he will be pleased he came to the tournament in London, played four matches, and got competitive play. He possesses so many qualities…”
“He is having a fantastic season. We are really hoping he performs strongly at Wimbledon. He is definitely among the favorites – following Sinner and Alcaraz,” added the director of the HSBC Championships in comments given to BBC Sport.
