World No. 11 Lorenzo Musetti offered his evaluation of Jack Draper`s game following their Madrid Masters semifinal encounter, where Musetti was defeated with a score of 3/6, 6/7(4).
“He is a very versatile player, and that is what impresses me the most,” Musetti commented. “Also impressive is how he defends from the baseline at such a height. He is very tall and capable of serving very well. It is especially difficult for players with a one-handed backhand because he opens up the angles [against them].”
“Today he played very well,” Musetti added during his post-match press conference. “The ending was very tight. He started impressively, but then I managed to get closer to his level.”
