UFC stars Max Holloway and Chan Sung Jung, known as `The Korean Zombie,` recently engaged in a captivating sparring session.

The two previously met in a memorable bout in Singapore in 2023, which earned `Fight of the Night` honors.

Although Holloway, nicknamed `Blessed,` secured the victory on that occasion, the competitors have since developed a strong friendship, with Jung inviting Holloway to train at his gym.

Upon arriving in South Korea, Holloway was met with enthusiastic fans before visiting Jung`s training facility for a final sparring session together.

Inside the Gym: Holloway and Jung Spar Footage Emerges

In front of an audience of fellow fighters, Holloway and Jung put on an impressive display.

After an initial feeling-out period, Jung, the hometown hero, pressured Holloway, who responded by applying similar pressure.

Holloway then showcased his signature flashy style, seamlessly transitioning from body attacks to head kicks, drawing audible reactions from the onlookers.

Jung attempted a takedown to gain an advantage, but Holloway successfully defended it.

The fighters exchanged leg kicks before Holloway initiated his own attempt to take the spar to the ground, driving Jung towards the wall.

Showcasing his defense, Jung initially stayed on his feet, but was later taken down by a clever sweep.

As the round concluded, Jung attempted one final takedown, but the buzzer sounded as he ended up on the canvas.

Despite the outcome of the spar, Holloway expressed his admiration for Jung`s strength, stating: “He’s so strong.”

Looking Ahead: Holloway`s BMF Title Defense Against Dustin Poirier

This sparring session with Jung likely serves as excellent preparation for the reigning BMF Champion as he prepares to defend his title against Dustin Poirier.

Having previously lost twice to Poirier, known as `The Diamond,` the 33-year-old Holloway is focused on securing a victory in this upcoming third encounter.

However, defeating the veteran from Louisiana will be a significant challenge, especially as Poirier has indicated this could be his final walk to the octagon.
