Henry Cejudo identifies Umar Nurmagomedov as a potential problem for Patchy Mix

Speaking on a recent episode of the *Pound 4 Pound* podcast, former double champion Henry Cejudo shared his thoughts on the UFC 316 card and Patchy Mix. Cejudo predicted a future UFC title reign for Mix, stating he doesn`t believe either current champion Merab Dvalishvili or Sean O`Malley would pose a significant threat.

However, Cejudo sees a different contender as a potentially tough matchup. Cejudo praised Mix`s accomplishments in Bellator, noting his dominant win over Kyoji Horiguchi as particularly impressive. He called Mix “a problem” and reiterated his belief that Mix is a future champion, possibly just a few fights away from challenging for the belt.

Cejudo concluded that the only fighter he could potentially see causing trouble for Patchy Mix is Umar Nurmagomedov.

Patchy Mix prefers Merab Dvalishvili to win the UFC 316 main event

Regarding the UFC 316 main event, Patchy Mix shared his preferred outcome should he rise to title contention. In a past press conference, Mix stated he is rooting for Merab Dvalishvili to defeat Sean O`Malley.

Despite their long-standing training relationship, Mix expressed interest in challenging Dvalishvili for the title in the future, citing the potential for a profitable fight between them. Mix commented, “Me and Merab have trained for years together, and I respect him.”

He added, “I really do hope Merab wins against O’Malley. I’d like down the line for us to make some money together, you know, and just duke it out for that title as I get closer to it.”

However, before any potential title shots, Mix is scheduled to make his UFC debut against Mario Bautista at UFC 316.
