World No. 7 Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva has stated her belief that she is ready to clinch a victory at a Grand Slam tournament.
Currently, Andreeva is participating in the WTA 1000 event held in Madrid, Spain. The clay court season is set to conclude with the prestigious Roland-Garros tournament.
Regarding her preparedness for a major title, Andreeva was quoted as saying,
“Do I feel ready to win a Grand Slam tournament? Probably, yes. Of course, if you ask any player, they would answer like that. The most important thing is how I perform on court and in important matches. I think I am ready. The main thing is how I handle my nerves and all the difficult situations during the tournament.”
Earlier this season, Andreeva has already secured titles at two WTA 1000 events.
