Naomi Osaka, the accomplished winner of four Grand Slam singles titles, recently shared her current perspective on the Wimbledon championships.
`I feel my relationship with Wimbledon is better now,` Osaka commented during a press conference. `I definitely have a greater appreciation for it. I always enjoyed watching my favorite players – people like Serena, Venus, and Roger, especially remembering that cool shirt Roger wore one year – competing on the grass and wearing white.`
Looking ahead, Osaka is set to play Australia`s Talia Gibson in the opening round at Wimbledon this year. Her campaign last year saw her reach the second round before she was eliminated by Emma Navarro, with the match ending 4-6, 1-6.
