World No. 56 Naomi Osaka of Japan commented on reaching the second round of the grass-court tournament in Bad Homburg. In her opening match, she defeated Serbia`s Olga Danilovic with a score of 7/6(6), 7/6(4).
`This was my first win on grass this year, so I`m very happy,` said the former world number one. `I believe I have potential on grass. But all the other opponents are very good too.`
She added, `I never take wins for granted. I`m just very happy that I won today.`
Osaka`s next opponent in Bad Homburg will be American Emma Navarro.
