New Features Arrive in PGA Tour 2K25 Season 2

The second season for PGA Tour 2K25 is now live, introducing new content aimed at enhancing the experience for players, according to developer HB Studios and publisher 2K Games.

The standout feature of Season 2 is the new Challenges mode. This mode combines detailed golf situations with elements reminiscent of role-playing games. Players navigate a map, selecting challenges to complete for rewards. While the core gameplay is realistic golf, some challenges incorporate more arcade-like elements for variety.

Within these scenarios, players must meet specific criteria. Unique modifiers can either make the task harder or easier. An example given is having to guide a shot through airborne rings.

Certain challenges will draw inspiration from famous moments in golf history, asking players to replicate legendary shots. HB Studios plans to regularly update and add to this mode in future seasons. A dedicated course designed for Challenges mode, created in collaboration with Charles Schwab, is also scheduled for release soon.

Additionally, Season 2 adds the iconic Old Course at St. Andrews to PGA Tour 2K25. Players can also unlock a variety of new rewards, including equipment and performance boosts. A new shot type, the Long Flop, is introduced. It`s a variation of the standard Flop Shot with greater power but retains its high arc, spin, and limited roll, useful for recovering from shots that didn`t quite reach the target.
