Novak Djokovic Reaffirms Olympic Gold as Top Career Achievement, Dismisses Retirement Talk

Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam champion, has once again stated that winning the 2024 Olympic gold medal is the pinnacle of his career.

“This is the most significant success of my career. It was for my country, at the Olympic Games, which occur only every four years. And the entire history surrounding the Games that I have experienced, with three semi-finals where I was unlucky. At 37 years old, in Paris, with my wife and children watching… It was like something out of a movie. I have never had such feelings on a tennis court.”

Furthermore, Djokovic responded firmly to a question regarding his retirement.

“I don’t know how much time I have left. Do you know yourself? I also have no idea,” Djokovic said, as reported by AS from the Laureus World Sports Awards red carpet.

It is noted that Djokovic quickly moved away from the media zone after this question.
