Portuguese journalist Jose Morgado noted the interesting transformation of Russian tennis star Daniil Medvedev, currently ranked No. 11 in the world and the 2021 US Open champion, during his opening match at the Monte-Carlo Masters.
Medvedev indeed underwent a visible change in attire during the match. He began the game wearing a turtleneck and leggings but had shed these layers by the second set.
Morgado playfully captioned a screenshot of Medvedev`s changing looks with: “One match and three Daniils.”
In this first-round match at the Monte-Carlo Masters, Medvedev is competing against fellow Russian player Karen Khachanov, the world No. 25 and a silver medalist at the 2020 Olympics.
