Paddy Pimblett Blasts Joe Giannetti
The backstory involves a scheduled fight between Paddy Pimblett and Joe Giannetti at Cage Warriors 111 in London on November 22, 2019.
However, the fight was derailed the day before it was supposed to happen.
Joe Giannetti drastically missed weight, registering 163.8 pounds, almost eight pounds over the lightweight limit.
Pimblett, clearly angered by this unprofessionalism, announced the cancellation of the fight on social media.
He detailed how he made weight at 154.7 pounds while Giannetti not only missed weight by a significant margin but also appeared unwilling to attempt further weight cutting, choosing instead to eat and drink immediately after weigh-ins.
Pimblett expressed his disappointment, stating that Giannetti`s actions jeopardized his career and that he believed Giannetti intentionally missed weight for an unfair advantage.
Years later, the resentment remains. Pimblett recently mocked Giannetti on his podcast, Chattin Pony, for still competing on smaller, regional fight cards.
Pimblett recounted the incident where his manager cancelled the fight due to Giannetti`s weight miss. He mentioned he was willing to proceed, but Giannetti himself refused to make any compromises to reach a more acceptable weight.
Pimblett then derided Giannetti for continuing to talk about him and suggested that if Giannetti believes he could beat him, he should strive to get signed by the UFC instead of remaining in regional circuits.
Arman Tsarukyan`s Former Opponent Criticizes Him for Seeking “Easy Fights” Amidst Paddy Pimblett Dispute

This trait is evident in his recent online exchange with Arman Tsarukyan. However, adding fuel to the fire, Tsarukyan`s former opponent has weighed in, criticizing Tsarukyan’s comments about Pimblett.
This individual strongly criticized Tsarukyan’s remarks about a potential fight with Pimblett.
The unnamed UFC fighter reportedly dismissed Pimblett as an “easy fight” and a “clown,” escalating the ongoing verbal conflict.
