Ronda Rousey continues to excite fans about a possible return to mixed martial arts.
The UFC Hall of Famer retired after a quick loss to Amanda Nunes in December 2016.
Since then, `Rowdy` has distanced herself from MMA and stated she would not return.
A concussion contributed to ending Ronda Rousey`s fighting career early, but she maintains rigorous training at home.
Ronda Rousey Shares New Training Footage
On Saturday, Rousey thrilled UFC and WWE enthusiasts by sharing new training footage on Instagram.
The video displayed her striking a training dummy with powerful ground and pound elbows.
“Found my phone case during ground and pound drills, then smacked myself in the face with the dummy,” Rousey captioned the post. “Re-growing pains are real lol. I found my rhythm eventually though.”
Within less than 24 hours, Rousey’s workout video received 32,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
Many comments are from MMA and professional wrestling fans hoping for her comeback.
“You are missed so much, you should come back to WWE now,” one fan commented. Another added, “You could easily come back and beat Julianna [Pena] for the belt.”
“WWE return perhaps?” a third fan wondered.
“That is a UFC comeback for the fam,” someone else mentioned.
“The most dominant and best athlete back in training,” a fifth person celebrated.
“We need her back in UFC,” this devoted Rousey fan insisted.
Ronda Rousey Ramping Up Training
Throughout 2025, Rousey has been documenting her workouts as she aims to recover after recently giving birth to her second child.
While it appears to be more about fitness than a comeback, it hasn’t stopped fans from speculating.
Rousey recently reunited with Cat Zingano, a former UFC rival she defeated quickly, showcasing the armbar submission that made her famous.
She has also demonstrated the judo `whip` that helped her earn a medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Rousey is expected to share more training footage soon, but a return fight is not currently anticipated.
