Rublev and Khachanov Withdraw from Madrid Masters Doubles

Russian tennis players Andrey Rublev and Karen Khachanov have decided to withdraw from the doubles `Masters` tournament in Madrid.

The main reason cited for their withdrawal is fatigue experienced by Andrey Rublev. He remains in the singles competition, where his next opponent will be Alexander Bublik, following Gael Monfils` retirement from their second-round match.

Originally, last year`s champions were scheduled to begin their campaign tomorrow with a match against the pair Tommy Paul / Tomas Machac. Their spot in the draw will now be taken by one of the teams from the alternates list.
