He elaborated on the support received: “The manager communicates with me a lot individually to ensure I understand everything that`s said, as other meetings are in Spanish. Both he and the staff make a special effort to ensure I understand every detail of the game plan. Stepping onto the pitch feels the same regardless of the club or playing internationally; you`re playing against a team, and you have a job to do.”
The atmosphere at Real Madrid has been welcoming for Alexander-Arnold. The presence of fellow countryman Jude Bellingham in the squad is also a significant help. With an expected key role in Xabi Alonso`s system, Alexander-Arnold is poised to contribute significantly to Real Madrid`s ambition of regaining the La Liga title. The players have been very welcoming, making me feel at home, comfortable, and allowing me to play my natural game.”
