UFC Star Warns Alexandre Pantoja Could Face Knockout Threat from Kai Kara-France at UFC 317

According to a notable figure in MMA, Alexandre Pantoja might face significant challenges when he takes on Kai Kara-France.

The Brazilian fighter is set to defend his flyweight championship tonight at UFC 317, held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The reigning champion has established himself as one of the division`s top historical competitors, securing decisive wins against Matt Schnell and a dominant performance over Kai Asakura.

Nevertheless, to secure a win against the skilled New Zealander, he will need to perform at his absolute best.

Tom Aspinall Highlights Kai Kara-France`s Dangerous, Unorthodox Striking

Tom Aspinall holds Alexandre Pantoja in very high regard.

However, Aspinall noted that despite Pantoja`s talent, he must be wary of Kai Kara-France`s unconventional striking style.


Speaking on his show, Tom Aspinall’s Fight Lab, Aspinall stated, “While many don`t associate flyweights with knockout power, Kai Kara-France is different; he possesses genuine power and is dangerous.”

He described Kara-France`s technique: “He often maintains a low guard and generates power from a distance with his entire body for uppercuts and hooks. He`ll sometimes approach slowly before unleashing powerful, wide strikes, which is incredibly exciting and, in my view, something the flyweight division needs.”

Kara-France has refined his skills training alongside elite fighters, notably Israel Adesanya.

Adesanya, known as ‘The Last Style Bender’, expresses strong confidence in Kara-France.

Leading up to UFC 317, Adesanya has issued a statement regarding Kara-France aimed at Pantoja.
