Ukraine secured a victory against Switzerland in Group E of the Billie Jean King Cup 2025 qualifiers, held on Saturday, April 12th.
In the opening match, Celine Naef defeated Marta Kostyuk with a score of 6-4, 7-6(1).
Elina Svitolina then evened the score by winning against Jil Teichmann 6-4, 6-2.
In the decisive doubles match, Nadiia Kichenok and Katarina Zavatska triumphed over the duo of Naef and Susan Bandecchi with a score of 6-4, 3-6, 10-5.
This victory placed Ukraine first in Group E, followed by Poland in second place and Switzerland in third.
