Varvara Gracheva on Mirra Andreeva’s Game: “She is Very Stable”

Varvara Gracheva, the world`s 67th-ranked player representing France, believes that the game of seventh-ranked Russian player Mirra Andreeva has remained consistent over the past year.

In a recent interview, Gracheva was asked about Andreeva`s incredible form and how much she has changed since their last match.

Gracheva responded that Andreeva hasn`t changed, but rather, she is very stable. She noted that while she hasn`t seen drastic changes in Andreeva`s game, Mirra possesses excellent defense and a seamless transition between aggressive and defensive styles.

Gracheva highlighted Andreeva`s exceptional court vision, emphasizing that these qualities were already present when Andreeva joined the Elite Tennis Center (ETC) in Cannes. According to Gracheva, Andreeva has only refined and maintained these skills at a consistently high level.
