Renowned Russian coach Viktor Yanchuk has shared his insights on what Daniil Medvedev needs to maintain a consistent presence in the Top 10 rankings.
“It`s obvious that he needs to regain his peak form and maintain it consistently. Subtle adjustments might be needed, which is a matter for the coach and player to address together. Perhaps he needs to sharpen his attacks. Medvedev is excellent at creating openings, but opponents are reaching his shots, indicating a possible need for greater speed in his strikes,” Yanchuk commented.
