The draw for the WTA 500 tournament in Stuttgart, scheduled for next week, has been released.
In the first round, Russian player Mirra Andreeva (6th seed) will face Marta Kostyuk of Ukraine. Ekaterina Alexandrova is set to play against fellow Russian player Liudmila Samsonova. The winners of these two matches are scheduled to compete against each other in the next round.
Another all-Russian matchup will see Diana Shnaider (8th seed) competing against Veronika Kudermetova (qualifier).
Anastasia Potapova will play against Clara Tauson of Denmark. The winner of this match will advance to play against the top-seeded Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus.
