WTA Race: Gauff Rises to Second, Andreeva Falls to Fifth

The Women`s Tennis Association (WTA) has released the updated rankings for the Race to the WTA Finals following the conclusion of Roland Garros 2024.

Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva has dropped from third to fifth position. The 18-year-old reached the quarterfinals at the French Open before being defeated by France`s Lois Boisson.

Belarusian star Aryna Sabalenka maintains her leading position in the Race standings. She was the runner-up in the Roland Garros final, losing to American Coco Gauff. Gauff`s victory propelled her from fifth place up to the second spot. Another American, Madison Keys, moved down to third.
