WTA Race to Championships: Alexandrova Climbs to 8th, Andreeva in Top 3

The Women`s Tennis Association (WTA) has updated the WTA Race to Championships rankings following last week`s tournaments. Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka remains the leader, American Madison Keys, who won the Australian Open, is second, and Russian Mirra Andreeva closes out the top three.

It is worth noting that another Russian player, Ekaterina Alexandrova, rose from 12th to eighth position in the WTA Race to Championships thanks to reaching the semi-finals of the WTA 500 tournament in Stuttgart, Germany. In the semi-finals, Ekaterina lost to the eventual champion, Jeļena Ostapenko.
